[Sometime over the course of the summer, Freya Mikaelson arrives on the steps of the Salvatore School. What's she doing there? No one seems to know. But she's recognizing at this point that there are gaps in her memory. Things missing that are not where they should be.
Why is she looking into the Gemini coven? Why are her brothers dead? Why does she have pictures of a girl from the Salvatore School?
As she wanders her way up to the front door, she can feel the wards and they are not necessarily happy to see her. While she does walk up to nudge the door open, and nothing happens, she's not going to test the threshold further than that. Instead, she calls inside, trying to get someone's attention.]
[Freya Mikaelson was the last person she'd expected to see at their door, at least at the moment, anyway, Caroline's footsteps pausing just shy of the door, gaze fixing on the witch.]
...Which for your family means she's probably related to you somehow. But I don't recognize her, Freya. Although that is our uniform. And it wouldn't be the first time something weird happened around here. [Caroline pauses, sends a quick text.]
Josie might know her. She'll be here in a few minutes.
[Freya nods, before lingering in her entryway and looking around. She would have scoffed, once, at the idea of a school for people like her, but over time, the Salvatore School has really turned into something.]
Klaus's money helped and Alaric handles the day to day affairs. I've been working on something else while he's been dealing with all the recent incidents.[Caroline's quiet for a moment before rubbing a hand over her face.]
I doubt it would have changed much if it had been option when I was in school, given how things were then, but a better experience for the next generation is all we can really hope for, right?
Maybe.[Caroline pauses, scrubs a hand over her face before sighing.]
But I mean, I spend more time on the road than here at the school lately, searching for answers or a way to protect the girls, so she might be a new student, although Alaric hasn't mentioned one.
wheeeeee let me know if this doesn't work

Professor Saltzman? I would love to have a word.

Freya?

[She reaches into her pocket and holds out the picture of Hope that she found in her Salvatore School uniform.]
I need to find a student.

I don't know her.

[Which is a little concerning, to say the least.]

This is quite an impressive thing you've built.

[She's rolling around Caroline's answers in her mind, and while they seem correct and accurate, it feels like there's something more that's missing.]
Why did he give you that money? Do you remember?

It was kind of the only reason we even got this place off the ground.

Still ... I can't help but feel that something's missing.

I'm sorry. I didn't come here to dump on your day. I'm just ... confused.
